FAQ

Which luminaires for which spaces?

Each room in your home requires different lighting.
Feel free to filter our product selection by room to choose the products you need.

Your office
The office is a workspace that requires efficient, quality lighting. You need to create an environment with optimal conditions for working and concentrating.
- Using a dimmer: ideal for having powerful lighting during the day and softer, more relaxing light in the evening.
- Directional lamps: highly functional, they allow you to direct the light and offer direct, precise illumination without dazzling you.
- A light source between 2700 and 3000 kelvins: this temperature range offers lighting close to natural light, not damaging to the eyes.
Your bedroom
The bedroom is a space for relaxation and rest.
- Subdued light: opt for dimmable light to immerse yourself in a relaxing space. Table lamps are ideal for this purpose.
- Reading lights: Avoid eyestrain with reading lights. Choose a cool light to avoid squinting.
- Warm lighting: On the other hand, for the main lighting, choose a warmer temperature to give the room a hushed atmosphere.
Your hallway
An often neglected space, the hallway is a dark room to be lit both functionally and optimally.
- A narrow space: Wall sconces or spotlights are perfect for illuminating this area.
- A long room: Opt for a succession of lights to illuminate the entire space and light effectively.
Your kitchen
The most convivial space in the house, the kitchen is the room to light functionally.
- Even lighting: choosing recessed spotlights is ideal for emitting diffused light and illuminating the entire room.
- Central lighting: For the kitchen's main lamp, choose a high wattage and a warm white temperature around 3000 kelvin for pleasant, functional lighting.
Your entrance
The entrance is the first impression people have of your home, so it's necessary to make it welcoming.
- Create a cocooning atmosphere: table lamps are ideal for making your entrance a warm room. Opt for natural lighting, neither too white nor too yellow.
- Save space: Often narrow, an entrance shouldn't be overcrowded. Wall sconces are ideal for lighting effectively without cluttering the room.
Your dining room
As a living room where you entertain, the dining room is a space to showcase.
- The central light fixture: As the dining table is the main feature of the room, a chandelier or pendant is ideal to cover the entire length. The ideal is to opt for a good CRI >80 so as not to distort the color of the food.
-Friendly lighting: Concerning the diffuse lighting of the room, choose a warmer temperature to create a warm atmosphere.
Your bathroom
The bathroom is a real living space where we must and like to take care of ourselves. Light plays a vital role in the comfort of this space.
- Safe lighting: a protection rating of 44 or higher is required to ensure that the luminaire is protected against the intrusion of solid and liquid bodies.
- A small or medium-sized surface: equip your bathroom with small table lamps, spotlights or wall sconces to keep the room uncluttered.
Your living room
This space is the central room of your home. This living space where everyone gathers needs warm, cosy lighting.
- Appropriate light intensity: The living room is a room in which the activities of daily life take place, so choose a luminaire with lumens between 1200 and 2000 to illuminate the entire room.
- A fixture adapted to the size of the space: Depending on the size of the room, choose a fixture with an adapted size to avoid overloading your living room with a lamp that's too imposing, for example.
