At Nedgis, products can be supplied with or without a light source.
In the event that the bulb is not included, a recommendation is made at the bottom of the product data sheet.
But how do you choose your bulb according to your needs? A light source has 3 main electrical characteristics: the number of lumens, kelvins and watts.
Lumens
Corresponding to luminous flux, the lumen is a unit of luminous power that indicates how much light useful for lighting is emitted by a bulb or lamp.
For a low-lighting requirement, such as for a bedside lamp, prefer a bulb giving off between 400 and 800 lumens.
On the contrary, if you want a well-lit space, choose between 1200 and 2000 lumens, especially for large living areas.
Kelvins
Kelvin is a unit of measurement that indicates the temperature of light. Generally speaking, the temperature of light ranges from 2,000 to 10,000 kelvin. The lower the temperature, the more the light emitted tends towards warm colors...
For a space you want to be warm, opt for a number of kelvins around 2700, corresponding to a warm white.
For bathing areas, you can go up to 3000 kelvins for a whiter light.
