Inspired, Rick Tegelaar elevates the nature of humble wire mesh by developing a machine and a set of tools to precisely shape it. The full potential of this thin, flexible material is then stretched and captured in three layers of beauty.
The clever structure of the wire mesh reflects and diffuses the light from the integrated LED with poetic grace, helping to keep the light source cool by absorbing some of its heat. The luminaire is suspended by a 4m cable.
