Design accessories, in ceramics

Ceramic is an elegant and chic material, with an eye for detail. This ancestral material is gradually finding its way back into many designer interiors, as the resurgence of "home-made" products, its artisanal design and its "made-to-measure" character make it a trendy material. It adds a touch of design by combining the use of the latest technologies with traditional manufacturing methods.
A ceramic object, and a fortiori a ceramic lighting fixture, offers a vintage touch to any interior.

Ceramic appliques provide bright, direct light; their white or colored molding creates delicate atmospheres.... Italian brand Karman Lighting is an expert in ceramic work. Its Work in Progress sconces and Norma M suspension fixture in raw, matte ceramic create a world where classic meets fairytale. They are perfect for subdued atmospheres; thanks to the opacity of the material, light is filtered and soft at the same time.
Zangra, the Belgian brand, has also developed real expertise in working with a well-known form of ceramic, Limoges porcelain. Its Pure Porcelaine sconces blend delicacy and sobriety. Varnished, stained black or white, mixed with laiton, they offer a true contemporary design lighting solution, while shaping a very ancestral material.

Finally, Spanish company Fontini specializes in creating china switches and sockets, notably with the Garby collection. This range, with its retro styling and clean lines, lends a precious character to every installation.

Surprisingly, some manufacturers have also chosen to tint their ceramics. With its Pleat Box collection, Marset offers ceramic pendant lights in refined terracotta and ochre tones.
